Thorough, good mapping and excellent cultural advice as always I work in the industry and I always use Lonely Planet if I am travelling somewhere without database coverage. Without any doubts, one of the best around! You really can’t go wrong with a lonely planet travel guide! Our trip to Italy was full of adventures and hidden gems found in the pages of this book. Would definitely recommend!
Too big an area to cover well – chose a more localised one I always swear by a âlonely planetâ guide but this one wasnât up to the usual standard. I think it has been thinned out too much to fit everything in. Best getting the versions on the more localised areas.
