My favourite campervan book Because we bought a camper last year I read a few campervan/motorhome books, presented from both a practical and an adventure perspective. And I can honestly say this book is my favourite.I’m pretty sure I’m old enough to be the lad’s dad, so the book doesn’t resonate on every level, but I’m finding it to be very useful and enjoyable.I should probably point out, after such gushing praise, that although we have the same surname, we’re not in any way related!
A big boost to my wanderlust! I occasionally spend slow times in the office scrolling through the vandog blog, day dreaming about getting out and doing some long term travelling myself. The plan is to do a 9 month climbing and speedflying trip in my van next year and reading this is book is pushing my psych levels through the roof!It is very well written and would be useful even if you’re just taking a van on holiday for week or two. I wish I’d had this last year before my first road trip!
a must for wanderlust I discovered Vandog traveller after picking up a similar LDV van myself last year.Mike had written another book available on pdf download , about how he bought and converted the van.It was fascinating and coupled with some of his youtube videos – the one lying on his back trying to fix a broken van in the rain, before a mad ferry dash gave me ptsd! ….I feel your pain Mike!Mike gave me ideas when fixing my own van and whilst family responsibilities and work mean my adventures…
