Help for parents and professionals struggling to cope with highly emotional or self-harming teens Based on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy this is a book I have been using whilst working within a child & adolescent mental health service. Lots of ideas, guidance and worksheets for adults to use in a collaborative way with teens, and if they don’t or won’t collaborate at least you can discover how you can hold your own emotions whilst struggling to hold theirs.

Seems specific and useful, so far I have only read the first chapter so far, but it seems to be the right book and is easy enough to read and seems to be pitched right. Time will tell, I suppose, but so far, so good
