This Delightful Rom-Com Really Hits Its Mark âA Shot at Loveâ sets the new âVillage Romance Seriesâ off to a flying-start â 5 StarsCharting the relationship between divorcee, Harriet (âNo-one likes a geekâ) Powell, and recently unemployed, Josie (âMy life is in tattersâ) Adams, this delightful rom-com was a great read. Opening in a Cotswoldâs village, where Josieâs mum and uncle run the local pub, the story begins with Josie returning from the US having recently been fired as speechwriter for the woman tipped to be the next…
Loved this Really fell in love with the setting as much as the characters in this one. It’s a great story, set in a wonderful location (makes me want to visit the Cotswolds!). It’s the first of 3 great stories, and it introduces you to all the cast of characters that make up the town, while still giving plenty of time to the main characters. Definitely a great read 🙂
Wasnât Disappointed At All! Have been looking forward to this series as I used to live in the Cotswolds! TB a great first book for this series. Clare, Harper, looking forward to your contributions and crossing fingers they also wonât disappoint! Of course I know that they wonât as I am an avid reader of all of your books.
