vegetarian food for non-vegetarians I like Joe Wicks and his positive ‘can do’ approach but, this book is very disappointing. Heavy reliance on american style vegetarian junk food – burgers – nachos, quesadillas, halloumi, feta and frankly trendy foods e.g. a slice of cauliflower as a ‘steak ‘etc etc. UK vegetarians don’t, in general, eat this way. We tend to eat a lot more pulses, (inc tempeh/ tofu) and a mix of indian, british and far eastern asian meal structures. There’s only so much lasagne a human can eat. Those of us…
Bland uncreative recipies I was looking forward to this book but all of these recipes are very bland and unoriginal. Save yourself the money and just google vegetarian recipes… it will be the same sort of food.
