Don’t bother – seriously. I expected this to be a book about specifically getting leaner by running. It is instead just yet another beginner runner book (full of advice about clothing and shoes and where and when to run) with just a brief mention about how to lose weight. I feel really let down by this book. It is yet another book aimed at getting a beginner out and jogging which is OK except I feel misled by the title.The ‘see inside’ preview doesn’t help in that it is so short you can’t get a true picture…

good stuff, but… I really liked this authors style of writing, straight to the point, realistic & achievable, what really annpoyed me was being unable to access the “shortcuts” to the 5k program etc, none of them worked, I have a new kindle paperwhite so it cant be my machine, can it? tried entering the same on my web browser but not recognised very frustrating!!! otherwise enjoyed the bookUPDATE- have since found a way of printing all charts from e book thanks to my husband who is much more…
