Quite extensive but has gender-biased content and several missing crafts Although not current, this book is not too old to be largely irrelevant. While not formally of Dorling Kindersley’s extensive ‘Art School’ series, “Craft : Techniques & Projects (Dk Crafts)” can be considered a companion to one of them. It was purchased mostly for its ideas and information with a potential to help fill free time; its female-oriented content ended the idea. Some of its content may be useful to those practising or considering ‘Mixed Media’ which can incorporate…

My daughter liked it so much I bought one for her too Had this for my birthday – although the book only touches on many different crafts it’s value is in the fact that you can browse through and choose which crafts really appeal. There’s certainly enough info to get you started, then you can develop your skills. My daughter liked it so much I bought one for her too. Love it.

I need a good holiday and an inventory of my gubbins when I … i am keen but there is so much I want to do, I need a good holiday and an inventory of my gubbins when I get back next week after a mini trip away. I am still sorting things through and compiling assemblages of different types of products. The amazon boxes have been very handy and useful, and I was thinking of using them as the bases for the templates for the multimedia art – life kits for bio-age works.
