Title: Clock Repairing as a Hobby( An Illustrated How-To Guide for the Beginner) Binding: Paperback Author: HaroldC.Kelly Publisher: SkyhorsePublishing
Clock Repairing as a Hobby (Paperback) I have several traditional clocks and not knowing much about them, decided to send away for this particular book.It is a very basic introduction to clock repair. It is not intended as a comprehensive guide to repairing a clock but a nice introduction and explanation of how clocks work. You can get a basic grounding as to how to embark on a satisfying hobby of repairing clocks. Other more comprehensive books will be required in addition to this book.
Okay but not as expected Itâs okay but not as in depth as I had hoped
Could have been a lot clearer The book is great for a beginner with one major exception. Most people wish to know what all the various parts of the movement are called and what they do.However this book has all the illustrations in different parts of the book.It also has their names in other parts of the book.Bad planning.Would it be so difficult to have one double page showing and listing all the parts and a note on what they do?
