Good ideas – but some dishes really low on flavour This is a great book for inspiration about cooking a quick meal for a family in one dish – I really like many of the ideas and have actually cooked quite a few tray bake family meal recipes already – However many dishes we have tried, though they look good actually taste really quite plain – I think the recipes we tried are vastly improved by adding some fresh herbs and/or dried spices. Proof Readers required before publication I really wanted to rate this book 5 stars however the first recipe i tried..p104 tarragon roast chicken with potatoes, onion & garlic wasnt quite what the title states! Ingedients…no onions! Did the author just forget abkut the onions?!! Easy and delicious recipes – transformed our weeknight meals! This book has transformed our weekday dinners. Everything we’ve made has been absolutely delicious. Favourites so far include the baked gnocchi with mozzarella and the five-spice duck with wild rice, kale and ginger (my attempts at both pictured) and we loved the lamb flatbreads, sesame and ginger meatballs and salmon with giant couscous.
