Fresh new ideas and inspiration I recently visited Gails in the Kings Road in London loved the food but had a limited baggage allowance to return home so luckily Amazon stocked the recipe book which is super ! Fresh new ideas and new cuisine and the story of how it started I think itâs great !
Directions are not clear I am obsessed with Gail’s Granola so I bought the cookbook solely for this recipe, but the directions are misleading. After baking the granola, the recipe states, “Once cooked, leave in the baking tin to cool, and don’t switch off the oven.” I imagine that this is supposed to say, “and don’t forget to switch off the oven,” as how on earth could anything cool if you didn’t switch off the oven?!?!?!
Love it. Love it….. as a reasonably good cook who has struggled with baking – this is an amazingly helpful fail proof book. I enjoy just to read it and also the fact if i try and bake I get great results. However still love a visit to the Wimbledon Gail’s with my girls to taste the real thing.
