Joyful and triumphant My six-year-old son was overjoyed by this book: it’s a very fun, tactile, exciting object that’s full of surprises ranging from little cut-outs to a board game. It’s the kind of clever, thoughtful packaging that can make a book much more exciting than an iPad (and the wee man loves his iPad) and tonight’s bedtime was packed with delightful gasps and a lot of laughter. I think it’s best enjoyed after reading the other Crayons books: there are a couple of running gags from the series that pay off…

You will need very good eyesight! Tried to like this book but I am sorry I bought it – beautifully made but impossible for me to read the little cards and letters within the enevelopes to my grandkids (yes I was wearing my glasses! Would have needed a magnifying glass as well ) this meant we couldnt grasp the story! Not one I could recommend.
