Great resource for teaching and just fun in general. This is a great resource and has excellent pictures and informative sections and is nice and colourful. Although it was originally purchased as an aid to lesson plans I have found myself just flipping through it for fun. Even the pupils enjoy it and pick it up and read it together when there is down time. Great lesson aid and just fun in general. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Please hit the helpful button if this helped in any way it allows me to write better reviews in the future,…

packed full of beautiful photos and just enough facts to keep kids enthralled This is simply a gorgeous book, packed full of beautiful photos and just enough facts to keep kids enthralled. Our 5 year old chooses this over a storybook at bed time, and he retains the facts. Perfectly pitched for kids, I would definitely recommend it. I have ordered the Space and Science encyclopaedias based on the quality of this on.

substantial book that will be a great birthday present really lovely, substantial book that will be a great birthday present. Quality of photos is excellent, and level of information/ complexity is appropriate for an animal loving 7 year old, with some help on tricky words. Brilliant book, and really got him thinking about habitats, and different types of animals etc.
