Very topical, great book This book is written from a child’s perspective on the huge problems of litter and how they as just one child can make a difference. The book is written in a easy to read, rhyming way. There is a little yellow fish to look out for hidden on each page which may keep younger children engaged. I think this story will be great for starting some discussions about climate change and how we can look after the planet, it will really get children thinking and help empower them to feel that they can help…

Fantastic book, every young child must read this. My Grandson aged 4 is thrilled with this book.Best of all, Just One Child has generated discussions about the issues raised and initiated him to connect the message with his reusable straw which he uses.A very special book, beautifully written and illustrated, every young child should read it and parents too.

I love the rhyme and message, and my 5 year old listened intently then went back to find the hidden fish. We try to litter pick each week, and try to take part in organised litter picks with Mid Ulster Community Clean Ups and Co. Antrim Countryside Custodians, and run Recycle for KC Northern Ireland to Terracycle items we find x
