Second hand news… I am a huge fan of Stevie Nicks and was very excited to see this book published. However, although it is a detailed account, nonetheless, it is not really any different to the several books out there on the star. I think only a book written by Stevie herself would really appeal to her fans now and give the real story into her fantastic life. That said, I did enjoy it. Would be a good starting point for any fan new to her music and FM.
A little talent goes a long way Iâm giving this 5 stars as itâs immaculately researched and well written. Iâd give it 2 if it was for likeability. Itâs hard to imagine that Rumours – the soundtrack to my formative years – was written as a result of their hatred for each other. And boy, did they hate each other. Nicks and Buckingham had a ridiculously childish battle over who was the most talented and seemed to be extremely spoilt individuals. Christine McVie wrote the sweetest song on Rumours âSongbirdâ written away from…
But still a great read. Would recommend it to Stevie I am enjoying this book very much. Although I have noticed that when it went to print there are a few pointers in there, that are not correct. But still a great read. Would recommend it to Stevie Fans
