Useful, but mistakes are made. I’ve found this book extremely useful during my training as a MH nurse. The book delivers to the point and useful information that is relevant during my degree. However, there were 1 or 2 mistakes in the book. For example the book continually refers to BI-POLAR disorder as (BPD). Although BPD actually means “borderline personality disorder”. Little mistakes like this could misinform those training to become nurses and cause confusion or even mistakes to be made during practice.
Best Nursing Book. Iâm a 3rd year MH nurse. I already own the earlier addition so thought I should buy this oneWhat a brilliant and useful nursing resource. Holistic and recovery focused by nature. This one discussed ways of reducing violence, medication, communication approaches, overall nhs issues. Please if your considering buying it, just get it. Youâll find it useful
Most used book Love this book. I have used it a lot and I havenât even finished 1st year. Would recommend for and student mental health nurse or general nurse with an interest in mental health
