Snapshot on Snapshot Snapshot is an overview on the photographic work on seven members and associates of the Nabis group. Each artist has their own dedicated chapter and what I particularly like is a chapter on the camera’s and equipement that they used at the time. Filled with photographs, some paintings and illustrations this book has the right amount of narration, artist biographies and exhibition checklist notes. An excellent book for artists,non-artists and photographers alike.

A very interesting and useful insight into how artists of the day incorporated the new technology of photography into their work A well presented and illustrated work showing how a certain group of artists used photography to make reference subjects for their work. It is a new take on the subject and was especially helpful to me about Bonnards use of the new technology available.
