Great for a novice, not great for an experienced photographer. Bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas, arrived on time, had a flick through and thought it was very informative and interesting – for me at least as I am a photography novice. He is much more experienced and only read the first page before realising it was a bit too novice for his liking and hasn’t opened it since. If buying for someone that knows a lots about cameras/photography it is probably not best, however for a novice it is very informative with lots of nice pictures! I have now…
The Book Was Absolutely Amazing Once I picked up the book I couldn’t put it down at all, it’s the best thing I’ve read in a long time. The writer breaks down his favourite photos of people, of all time, over 120 pages writing well about the meaning and impact of the shots. The writer breaks down photography techniques into steps the reader could adapt. The page quality and construction are next to none and I am definitely going to buy the first book in the series.
Inspirational book bought as a Christmas gift and it was well received. I flicked through it myself when wrapping it and I thought it would be one I would like myself. Not at all a techie guide but, as with the series of books, offers examples and guidance on picture making.
