Disappointing; more a beginner’s book on general photography I expected this to be a book about landscape photography rather than a beginner’s book that explains the difference between prime and zoom lenses, raw and jpeg files, and how to set up a tripod. (And there’s even a tip about booking a hotel so you can get to where you want to go early enough. Seriously.)Yes, there is some good information about using filters – important to landscape photography – but very little about composition, which is probably what most would-be landscape…

Excellent read for anyone wanting to explore landscape photography This is a well planned and excellent read for anyone wanting to explore landscape photography and I would heartily recommend this book for beginners and veterans alike. The book covered the basics of photography, what you need and when you need it and then went on to explore the more advanced settings and how to incorporate these into your normal routine when out and about.
